This one was tough to capture due to the low contrast between the clear apatites and the milky feldspar. A highly distorted cluster of apatites rest on a muscovite book (laying flat for display) backgrounded by elongated and lustrous feldspar crystals.. The variety and complexity of the apatites from the Sapo were unparalleled. This specimen came from 3 flats we obtained that had been set aside in Brazil. Very little material in the market anymore.
