This specimen came from a trap rock quarry, primarily known for its fine hydroxyl apophyllite specimens. Azurite was uncommon, and this small shard was a very exciting find by Joel Baskin in 1996. Ex George Loud Locality: Centreville Quarry, Fairfax County, Virginia Composition: copper carbonate
