Description Got one of those difficult metal roof profiles? Don’t think the popular standard SolarFoot will bridge the various profiles, or fit into the flat areas of the roofing panels? The S-5! VersaBracket 47 is your solution. A single butyl pad base with 3 screw positions, plus slotted top-side for attaching rails (use DIY L-channel pieces, or L-Feet). Or, if you are attaching to an asphalt shingle rooftop, use the VersaBracket 47 as a far more robust, and sealed, version of the Z-feet that are popular for vehicle roof installations. The S5 VersaBracket 47 is well-suited for metal roofing. It can be used to mount almost anything to an exposed-fastened roof system and is compatible with almost any trapezoidal exposed‑fastened profile. No messy sealants to apply! No chance for leaks! The VersaBracket comes with factory‑applied butyl sealant already in the base, and the S-5!® patented reservoir conceals the sealant from UV exposure, preventing drying and cracks. Installation is simple. VersaBracket is mounted in the flat of the panel, directly into the supporting structure of the roof, i.e. wood decking, wood or steel purlins or trusses. No surface preparation is necessary; simply wipe away excess oil and debris, peel the release paper from the base, align, and apply. Secure through the pre-punched holes using the appropriate screws for the supporting structure. VersaBracket is extremely strong & economical, facilitating quick and easy installation of solar rail systems onto metal roofs that don’t offer clamping options. Fasteners not included, but we recommend these. S-5! VersaBracket & Mounting Solar Panels Use the VersaBracket as a platform for L-Feet (to which to attach rail systems). For smaller solar PV systems, attach the VersaBracket directly to the mounting holes provided on PV solar module frames.
